2. Passwordless Authentication

Storyboon uses a secure passwordless authentication system:

  • No Passwords: We don't store passwords - you can't lose what we don't have
  • Magic Link System: We send a 6-digit verification code to your email
  • Secure Codes: Verification codes expire after 10 minutes and can only be used once
  • Email Verification: Only someone with access to your email can log in
  • Session Management: You stay logged in until you explicitly log out or clear your browser

Storyboon uses artificial intelligence technology to analyze your stories and provide editorial guidance. Here's how we handle your story content:

AI Processing Details

  • Service Provider: Google Gemini API (Google LLC)
  • Purpose: Generate personalized story structure analysis and editorial suggestions
  • Processing Method: Your story text is transmitted securely to Google's Gemini API for real-time analysis
  • Data Retention: Story text is processed in real-time and not retained by Google beyond the time needed to generate analysis
  • Security: All transmissions use TLS encryption

What We Analyze

  • Age-appropriate content assessment

Data Protection Guarantees

  • No AI Training: Your stories are NEVER used to train or improve AI models
  • No Third-Party Sharing: Your stories are not shared with any third parties except Google for processing
  • No Publication: Your stories remain private and are never published or distributed
  • User Control: You can delete your stories and all associated analysis data at any time
  • Account Deletion: When you delete your account, all your stories are permanently removed within 30 days

  • Service providers who help us operate the platform
