What Storyboon Collects

Storyboon is operated by Sahtu Press. We collect what the service needs to work, and not more:

• Your email address, which is how you sign in. We send you a 6-digit code instead of storing a password.
• Your scripts, the plain-text screenplays and comics you save, along with their titles and whether you have made them public.
• Basic service records, such as when a sign-in code was sent and used, and the network address it came from. These protect accounts from abuse.

How It Is Used

Your email is used to sign you in and to send transactional messages about your account. Your scripts are stored so you can return to them; they are private unless you make them public. Service records are used to keep sign-in secure and to limit automated abuse.

We do not sell your information. We do not share your private scripts with anyone.

Cookies and Analytics

Storyboon uses a session cookie to keep you signed in and a security cookie to protect forms. The site also uses Google Analytics to understand overall traffic; you can decline non-essential cookies in the cookie banner.

Email Preferences

Transactional email (sign-in codes, account notices) is part of how the service works. Any other email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can manage preferences from the link in those messages.

Your Data, Your Control

You can export your scripts at any time as plain-text files. You can delete your account from your profile; deletion permanently removes your account, your scripts, and your sign-in records from our systems.
